Summary
In the second quarter 2007, the average value of bank evaluation on housing on the mainland attained €1 243/sq. meter, corresponding to a slight increase of 0.4% from Q1 and 1,6% from the same quarter in the previous year. The highest average value continued to be reported in the Algarve region, 1 562/ sq. meter. In the Lisboa Metropolitan Area, the average value declined by 1.5% from the previous quarter and in the Porto Metropolitan Area it rose by 1.6%.
