In May, hotel activity registered 3,6 million overnight stays, accounting for an year-on-year change of 4,7%, compared with 2006. This increase was mainly due to residents (1,5%) and non-residents (6,0%).
Total income and income from hotel occupancy accounted for 169,2 million euros and 112,4 million euros respectively, corresponding to year-on-year changes of 0,2% and 5,7%, compared with the same period of 2006.
