The Industry Turnover Index showed a year-on-year nominal change of -3.5 % in October (-10.4 % in the previous month). Excluding the Energy grouping, industrial turnover fell by 2.4% (9.8% in September). The changes in the indices for the domestic and external markets were less negative, -1.3% and -6.6% respectively (-8.1% and -13.8% in September).

Employment and wages increased by 0.4% and 5.7% respectively compared with the same month of the previous year (0.2% and 6.5% in September), while the number of hours worked (adjusted for calendar effects) rose by 0.4% (-0.3% in the previous month).
