In the quarter ending in August 2006 production in the construction and public works sector declined by 7.6%, year-on-year terms, which represents a 1.1 percentage point (p.p) deterioration from the change observed in the quarter ending in July.
Employment, wages and the working volume in construction and public works had changes of -7.7%, -0.9% and -7.6% respectively.
