Summary
In July 2006 the new housing construction cost index in the mainland had a year-on-year change of 3.8%, 0.5 percentage point (p.p.) lower than in June. The year-on-year rate of change in the housing regular maintenance and repair price index in the mainland declined to 3.8%, 0.3 p.p. lower than in the previous month.
