In July hotels recorded 4.3 million overnight stays, revealing 5.8% growth compared with the same period a year earlier. This month, Algarve was the main region of destination, for both non-residents (50.5%) and residents (39.7%). Total income reached €184.9 million and income from hotel occupancy attained €130.2 million, accounting for year-on-year increases of 7.1% and 7.6% respectively.
