In October hotels registered 3.3 million overnight stays, which represents an increase of 5.9% vis-à-vis the same period in 2005. This increase was chiefly due to both non-residents (6.7%) and residents (3.5%). Total income reached €151.9 million and income from hotel occupancy attained €100.1 million, accounting for year-on-year increases of 7.0% and 8.1% respectively.
