Summary
In September 2006 the new housing construction cost index in the mainland had a year-on-year change of 3.0%, i.e. a 0.3 percentage point (p.p.) decline from July. The year-on-year rate of change in the housing regular maintenance and repair price index in the mainland was 3.4%, i.e. 0.1 p.p. below the change observed in the previous month.
