Summary
In October 2006 the seasonally adjusted retail trade turnover at constant prices declined by 0.1% in year-on-year terms. The change from September was -4.0%. The year-on-year rates of change in employment, wages and the number of hours worked in retail trade were positive and stood at 0.9%, 4.4% and 1.4% respectively.
