The interest rate on housing loans as a whole was set at 3.681% in July, which represents a deceleration of 0.024 percentage point (p.p.) from June. The rate on contracts signed over the last 3 months had a monthly deceleration of 0.034 p.p., to stand at 3.307%. The average value of principal outstanding per contract indicated a monthly rise of €121 and loan repayments attained €270, remaining stable from the last two months.
