The interest rate on housing loans as a whole was set at 3.703% in May, decelerating by 0.015 percentage point (p.p.) from April. The rate on contracts signed over the last 3 months had a monthly deceleration of 0.019 p.p., to 3.364%. The average value of principal outstanding per contract indicated a monthly rise of €125. Loan repayments attained €270, up €1 from April.
