Summary
In March, overnight stays in hotels increased sharply by 12.8%, when compared with the same period a year earlier. This increase was chiefly due to overnight stays by residents (14.9%) and non-residents (11.8%). Total income and income from hotel occupancy also increased year-on-year by 5.5% and 8.3% respectively.
