Summary
In May 2005 new orders received by industrial firms rose by 2.1% vis-à-vis the same period a year earlier, as a result of increases in both the domestic and external markets. Both cases, however, decelerated somewhat, which translated into a 4.3 percentage points (p.p.) slowdown in the year-on-year change in the total index.
