Services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year change rate of 16.8%, down by 6.8 percentage points (p.p.) from November. In the 4th quarter of 2021, the year-on-year change rate was 18.6% (11.8% in the previous quarter). For the year 2021, services turnover index grew by 10.5% (in 2020, the same index has decresed by 15.7%).
The month-on-month rate of change of the total index was -4.1% (2.7% in November).
The year-on-year change rates of the indices of employment, wages and salaries and number of hours worked adjusted of calendar effects were 3.9%, 4.3% and 2.5%, respectively (3.1%, 4.4% and 2.7% in November, by the same order). In 2021, the indices of employment, wages and salaries and hours worked (gross data) presented a year-on-year change rate of -1.6%, 2.2% and 0.1%, respectively (change rates of -5.9%, -4.7% and -12.8% in 2020).
