That value corresponds to a downwards revision of 0.2 pp of the provisional estimate released one month ago.
In comparison to the previous month, the unemployed population has increased by 1.3 thousand people (0.4%) and the employed population has decreased by 9.4 thousand people (0.2%).
The provisional unemployment rate estimate for January 2020 was 6.9%, up 0.2 pp from the previous month’s level.
