Summary
The new orders in construction index presented a year-on-year increase of 16.1% in the third quarter of 2016 (change rate of 22.3% in the previous quarter). This less intense performance was determined by the Civil Engineering which moved from a change rate of 14.6% in the second quarter of 2016, to 5.4% in the following quarter. The Building Construction sector index presented a year-on-year change rate of 31.4% (29.4% in the previous quarter).
