In year-on-year terms, Industry Turnover Index rose 1.2% in September, after a decrease of 3.7% in the previous month. This result was mainly due to the performance of the external market index, which moved from a change rate of -0.5% in August to 4.8% in September. Domestic market index decreased 1.3% (change rate of -5.7% in the previous month).
In the 3rd quarter of 2012, industrial sales increased 0.6% comparing with the same quarter of the previous year, the same rate observed in the previous quarter.
Also in year-on-year terms, employment, wages and hours worked decreased by 2.2%, 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively.
