NAMEA-Air Emissions
- 2006
12 September 2008
Summary
In 2006, a reduction in the intensity of emissions of gases responsible for the Greenhouse Effect of 5,9% is estimated. This reduction over compensated the increase of 1,7% in the previous year. The fluctuations of the emissions of the industry Electricity, Gas and Water are partly responsible for this evolution associated to the change of the available hydric resources. Nevertheless for the period 2000-2006, a trend for lower relative changes of these emissions is evidenced compared with the growth of the economic activity.
