Summary
In the third quarter 2008, the average value of bank evaluation on housing on the mainland attained
€1,164/sq. meter, corresponding to a decrease of 1.8% from last quarter and of 4.8% from the same quarter in the previous year. The highest average value was reported, as usual, in the Algarve region: €1,473/ sq. meter. In Lisboa and Porto Metropolitan Areas, the quarterly rate of change was -1.6% and -0.3% respectively.
