Summary
In the second quarter 2008, the average value of bank evaluation on housing on the mainland attained €1,186/sq. meter, corresponding to a decrease of 2.8% from last quarter and of 4.6% from the same quarter in the previous year. The highest average value was reported, as usual, in the Algarve region: €1,485/ sq. meter. In Lisboa Metropolitan Area, there was a rate of change of -3.6% from the previous quarter and in the Porto Metropolitan Area the average value decreased 3.7%.
