Summary
Statistics Portugal releases on www.ine.pt the results of “Estimativas Provisórias de População Residente, Portugal, NUTS II, NUTS III e Municípios, 2010” (Provisional Estimates of Resident Population in Portugal for 2010).
2010 demographic behavior is characterized by a decrease of 734 individuals, as a result of a negative natural balance (-4 549) and a positive net migration (3 815). Consequentially, the resident population is estimated at 10 636 979 inhabitants by 31 December 2010.
