Summary
Tourism Statistics, in its 40th edition, is disseminated by Statistics Portugal on an annual basis since 1969.
The main statistical findings on the activity of the tourism sector, are presented, namely on accommodation capacity, guests and overnight stays, as well as the total revenue of hotel and similar establishments classified as being of tourist interest by Portugal’s National Tourism Authority (TP).
