This publication Health Statistics - 2023 presents health statistical data in Portugal mainly for 2023, comprising ten subthemes detailed, in general, by the third level of NUTS - 2024: health status, hospitals, pharmacies and medicines, health professionals licensed to practice, childbirths, mortality, infant mortality, neonatal mortality, foetal mortality and Health Satellite Account.

It also includes a brief description of the data sources as well as the concepts for statistical purposes and classifications used.
