The thematic content of this year's edition - Regional Statistical Yearbook of Centre Region - has been reorganised with 25 sub chapters now grouped into four main chapters - Territory, People, Economic Activity and the State - and also includes new topics: territory, communication, science and techonology, the information society and political participation. For the first time, tables appear in a bilingual format (Portuguese and English). As another important innovation for this edition, each sub chapter opens with a key indicators table, wich enables the reader at a glance to see the main territorial trends relating to the different topic.
