This publication presents health statistical data in Portugal mainly for 2019, comprising ten subthemes, in general detailed by the third level of NUTS: health status, hospitals, pharmacies and medicines, health professionals licensed to practice, childbirths, mortality by causes of death, infant mortality, neonatal mortality, foetal mortality and Health Satellite Account.

It also includes a brief description of the data sources as well as the concepts and classifications used.
