Study on the Local Purchasing Power
- 2002
Issue year: 2002
Summary
The study on the Local Purchasing Power (SLPP) aims at characterising purchasing power for all the 308 Portuguese counties, based on a set of indicators calculated from 19 variables by means of factorial design. The great advantage of these indicators is that they provide data on counties, a territorial unit for which there is few statistical data available. The SLPP proposes three indicators: Indicator per capita, Percentage of Purchasing Power and the Factor Relative Dynamism.
The publication also includes a CD-ROM with an interactive application. It allows calculating the indices for groups of geographical units selected by users, as well as downloading the information into other applications of Windows.
