Summary
Services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year rate of change of 5.5%, down by 0.4 percentage points (p.p.) from the rate observed in August 2024.
In the 3rd quarter of 2024 the index registered an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period in 2023 (5.9% in the previous quarter).
The monthly rate of change of the total index was 5.2% in September (3.9% in the previous period).
The indices of employment, wages and salaries and number of hours worked adjusted for calendar effects presented year-on-year rates of change of 3.7 %, 10.3% and 0.3%, respectively (compared to 4.4%, 10.4% and -0.8% in August).
