In the third quarter 2007, the average value of bank evaluation on housing on the mainland attained €1,223/sq. meter, corresponding to a decrease of 1.6% from Q2, increasing 0.5% from the same quarter in the previous year. The highest average value continued to be reported in the Algarve region: €1,540/ sq. meter. In the Lisboa Metropolitan Area, the average value declined by 1.8% from the previous quarter and in the Porto Metropolitan Area declined to 2.3%.
