Summary
In the third quarter of 2006 the average value of bank evaluation on housing in the mainland reached €1,217/sq.meter, which corresponds to a 0.6% decline from the second quarter. The highest average value of bank evaluation on housing continues to be recorded in the Algarve: €1,468/sq.meter. In the Lisboa Metropolitan Area, the average value of bank evaluation rose by 2.6% from the previous quarter. In the Porto Metropolitan Area, it rose by 0.3%.
