Summary
In August hotels registered 5.5 million overnight stays, which represents an increase of 5.6% vis-à-vis the same period of the previous year. This increase was chiefly due to non-residents with a year-on-year change of 8.6%. Total income reached €245.3 million and income from hotel occupancy attained €174.2 million, accounting for year-on-year changes of 12.1% and 8.8% respectively.
