The per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP-Pc) volume index, expressed in purchasing power parities, represented 76.8 % of the EU average in 2018, 0.2 percentage points higher than in 2017. The per capita actual individual consumption (AIC pc) in Portugal increased from 81.5% of the EU average in 2017 to 82.9% in 2018.
