The average daily expenditure per capita (ADEpc) of tourists (with overnight stays) non-residents surveyed visiting Algarve amounted EUR 81,3. Tourists travelling to Algarve in high season reached an ADEpc of EUR 85,4. In low season tourists accounted for an ADEpc of EUR 72,9.
Tourists non-residents who visited Algarve stated that the most important items related to their tourist travel expenditures were “tourist package” and “accommodation”. These items accounted for almost half of the amount spent on the trip, followed by “restaurants, “coffee-shops and bars” and “international transport”.
