FEBRUARY 2022 13 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN Industrial production prices increased by 17.9% In January 2021, the Industrial Production Prices Index (IPPI) registered a year-on-year increase of 17.9% (20.0% in the previous month): • 46.5% concerning Energy (64.5% in December); • 18.9% regarding Intermediate goods (18.2% in December). How this indicator changed continued to be strongly influenced by the increase in the prices of electricity production and oil and its derivatives, including chemical products. The month-on-month rate of change concerning the IPPI was 0.3% (2.1% in January 2021).
