Summary
The publication Municipalities of the North Region is an example in regional terms, for it covers data selected from the information published in previous editions of the Regional Statistical Yearbooks. This issue also sets out some indicators from the Population and Housing Censuses of 2001. In general, each county or sub-region NUTS III, besides a brief description, has data on Population, Social Indicators and Economic Activity. The first section of this publication has a description of the sources as well as the methodology adopted in the calculus of some of the statistical indicators presented.
