| 157 Entre2010e2017, ocontributodaenergiaproveniente de fontes renováveis no consumo final bruto de energia aumentou de 24,2% para 28,1% (a meta nacional para 2020 foi fixada em 31% e para 2030 em 40%). Neste período, o consumo total de eletricidade representou, em média, cerca de ¼ do consumo final de energia em Portugal, verificando-se que a importância das fontes renováveis no total da eletricidade consumida tem aumentado todos os anos, passando de 40,6% em 2010 para 54,2% em 2017. De acordo com as metas europeias e nacionais, o setor dos transportes deverá incorporar, até 2020, 10% de energia proveniente de fontes renováveis no seu consumo energético (incorporação de biocombustíveis substitutos de gasóleo). Depois da certificação da totalidade dos biocombustíveis, o peso relativo do consumo energético de origem renovável nos transportes aumentou de 0,9% em 2013 para 7,9% em 2017. A utilização de energia proveniente de fontes renováveis no aquecimento e arrefecimento foi, entre 2010 e 2017, sempre superior àmeta nacional, que foi fixada em30,6%até 2020 (registando 34,4% em 2017). Between 2010 and 2017, the contribution of energy from renewable sources to gross final energy consumption has increased from 24.2% to 28.1% (the national target to 2030 corresponds to 40%). In this period the final electricity consumption has represented, on average, about 1/4 of the final consumption of energy in Portugal. The importance of renewable sources in the total amount of electricity consumed has increased every year: from 40.6% in 2010 to 54.2% in 2017. According to European and national targets, the transport sector should incorporate, by 2020, 10% of energy from renewable sources into its energy consumption (incorporation of diesel fuel substitutes). After the certification of all biofuels, energy consumption from renewable sources in transports increased from 0.9% in 2013 to 7.9% in 2017.
