COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 24 21 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries A visita de trabalho do INE de Cabo Verde abordou várias matérias relacionadas com o funcionamento do Sistema Estatístico Nacional (SEN) de Portugal, delegação de competências estatísticas e a implementação do Regulamento Geral de Proteção de Dados. O INE-CV, representado pelo Coordenador do Gabinete de apoio ao Conselho Diretivo, Adilson Penha Lopes, e pela Coordenadora da Divisão de Recursos Humanos, Ísis Rodrigues Dia, partilhou diversas experiências sobre o papel de coordenação que desempenha no SEN junto de outros provedores de dados e de órgãos delegados e sobre desenvolvimentos decorrentes da adoção do regime de proteção de dados. A visita beneficiou ainda do contributo do Secretariado do Conselho Superior de Estatística (CSE), representado pelo perito Paulo Cocco, que clarificou aspetos sobre a relação do CSE com o INE. The study visit from NSI Cabo Verde addressed several matters related to the functioning of Portugal’s National Statistical System (NSS), delegation of statistical functions and the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation. NSI-CV, represented by the Coordinator of the Board’s Office, Adilson Penha Lopes, and by the Coordinator of the Human Resources Division, Ísis Rodrigues Dia, shared several experiences on the coordinating role it plays in the NSS vis-à-vis other data providers and delegated bodies and on developments arising from the adoption of a data protection regime. The visit also benefited from the contribution of the Secretariat of the Portuguese Statistical Council (CSE), represented by the expert Paulo Cocco, who clarified aspects of the relationship between the Council and Statistics Portugal.
