MARCH 2022 29 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN Industrial Production Prices accelerated to 20.7% In February 2022, the Industrial Production Prices Index (IPPI) registered a year-on-year increase of 20.7% (17.8% in the previous month): • 60.9% in Energy (46.5% in January); • 19.2% in Intermediate goods (18.8% in January). The rate of change concerning this indicator continued to be strongly influenced by the increase in the prices of energy and raw materials, without which the index grew by 5.9% (5.3% in the previous month). The month-on-month rate of change regarding the IPPI was 2.7% (0.2% in February 2021).
