Área Metropolitana de Lisboa accounted for 27.8% of the total, followed by Norte (17.7%), Algarve (17.3%), and Região Autónoma da Madeira (16.9%); • All seventeen main inbound markets registered yearon-year increases and, together, represented 84.7% of overnight stays spent by non-residents in tourist accommodation establishments, especially the British (14.6% of total overnight stays spent by non-residents), German (13.4%), and Brazilian (9.4%) markets.
