FEBRUARY 2022 15 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN More information is available at: New housing construction costs index – December 2021 8 February 2022 The following year-on-year rates of change are estimated for December 2021: • Construction Costs Index for New Housing (CCINH): 6.8% (8.3% in the previous month); • Price of materials: 8.0% (9.4% in the previous month); • Labour costs: 5.1% (6.8% in the previous month). In terms of the month-on-month rates of change, the estimated rates for December 2021 were: • CCINH: -1.4% (1.3% in November); • Price of materials: -0.7% (0.8% in November); • Labour costs: -2.3% (2.2% in November). For the year 2021 as a whole, the following rates of change were registered: • CCINH: 5.7% (2.1% in 2020); • Price of materials: 6.2% (1.2% in 2020); • Labour costs: 5.1% (3.3% in 2020).
