APRIL 2022 9 MONTHLY STATISTICAL BULLETIN In 2021, the balance of trade in sporting goods more than doubled, amounting to €205.6 million In 2021: • The trade balance of sporting goods recorded a positive balance of €205.6 million (€91.7 million in 2020); Exports of bicycles (€308.1 million) represented more than half (57.4%) of the exports of this type of goods; • Jobs in sports were estimated at 37.0 thousand people (0.8% of the employed population), down 3.7% from 2020.
