Summary
With this publication, Statistics Portugal releases a characterisation of cultural heritage: museums; visual arts; architectural heritage; books and press; performances arts and cinema. As well the public financing of cultural activities by the central and local governments; it also presents indicators related to broadcasting and sports. With the purpose of providing users with general data that enable a characterisation of culture, an analysis of results is also published, with developments on the main indicators and a table containing summary information.
