Summary
Statistics Portugal presents the third issue of the CD-ROM ¿O País em Números¿ (Portugal in Figures), which gathers a wide range of information divided into 21 themes, such as: Population; Construction; Enterprises; International trade; Health or Purchasing power. O País em Números (Portugal in Figures) provides backup information for designing the country¿s regional portrait, incorporating most of the statistical production of Statistics Portugal, available at the local level (municipalities and parishes). Data made available refer to the 1991-2003 period and include some series targeted at presenting systematic information that was published throughout different dissemination products of Statistics Portugal, and at facilitating time comparisons. Data access is carried out in a simplified manner through a set of tools that make it possible to display, copy, export and print data. All the information selected by users may be viewed in charts or thematic maps, which represents an innovation from the previous issue of this product.
