The main purpose of this publication is the dissemination of the most recent macroeconomic data for the Economic Accounts for Agriculture, Base 2000.
The structure of this publication presents the second forecast for the Agricultural Income for 2007 and a series for national values concerning 1980-2006.

The main results for the second forecast are:

-Decrease of 5.5% in the volume of the Output of the Agricultural Industry, with a raise of 3.4% in basic prices; the volume decreased 9.2% in Crop Output and increased 0.6% in Animal Output; Basic prices increased 4.0% and 3.0%, respectively;
-Intermediate Consumption presented a decrease of 2.2% in volume and an increase of 6.4% in prices;
-Decrease, in volume and value, of the Gross Value Added (GVA), in -10.3% e -11.5%, respectively;
-Nominal decrease in the Net Entrepreneurial Income (-11.4%);
-Decrease, in 5%, of indicator A (index of the real income of factors in agriculture, per annual work unit).
