Summary
In April 2010, turnover in industry increased by 12.0% year-on-year terms, 4.6 percentage points lower than the previous month’s rate. This result was determined by similar behaviour, although with different intensity, occurring on both markets, national (7.8% in April and 9.4% in March) and external (19.9% in April and 30.9% in the previous month).
Also in year-on-year terms employment, wages and hours worked (adjusted for calendar effects) decreased by 3.3%, 1.6% and 3.1% respectively.
