Summary
In August 2007 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices had a year-on-year rate of change of 1.9%, up 1.6 percentage points from July. From July 2007, the change was of 2.4%. In retail trade, employment, wages and the number of hours worked adjusted for working days had positive year-on-year rates of change of 2.1%, 7.8% and 2.4% respectively.
