The Industry Turnover Index recorded a nominal year-on-year rate of change of -7.7% in July (-7.9% in the previous month). Excluding the Energy grouping, industrial sales decreased 4.8% in July (-1.8% in June). The change rates in the indices for the domestic and external markets were -4.1% and -12.5% respectively (-5.8% and -10.6% in June).

The employment and the wages and salaries indices recorded year-on-year increases of 0.7% and 6.0%, respectively (0.9% and 8.4% in the previous month), while the change rate in hours worked (adjusted of calendar effects) index moved from -0.6% in June to 0.1% in July.
