In the 2nd quarter of 2023, 5.7 thousand buildings were granted permits, representing decreases of 10.2% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2022 (-10.1% in the 1st quarter of 2023) and 5.8% vis-à-vis the 2nd quarter of 2019. Building permits for new constructions decreased by 10.4% (-10.2% in the 1st quarter of 2023; +0.9% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019). The number of renovation permits decreased by 10.4% (-9.8% in the 1st quarter of 2023; -23.4% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2019). 

Completed buildings decreased by 2.1% compared to the 2nd quarter of 2022 (-6.1% in the 1st quarter of 2023) but increased by 9.9% vis-à-vis the 2nd quarter of 2019, totalling 3.8 thousand buildings.

Compared to the previous quarter, the number of building permits decreased by 9.5% (+14.2% in the 1st quarter of 2023), while the number of completed buildings increased by 3.2% (-5.6% in the 1st quarter of 2023).
