In the 4th quarter of 2009, the Labour Cost Index (LCI) working day adjusted, excluding Public Administration, rose by 2.8% compared to the same period of the previous year (down from the 4.5% recorded in the 4th quarter of 2008). In 2009, on average, the LCI increased by 3.7% (down from the 4.3% registered in 2008).
