Production in the construction and public works sector fell by 4.7% in the quarter ending in June 2007, compared with the same quarter of the previous year. This change accounts for a slightly recovery of 0.7 percentage points (p.p.) from the change observed in the quarter ending in May. Employment and the workload in the sector maintained negative year-on-year rates of change, at -3,3% and -6.0% respectively. Wages grew by 8.4%.
