In April 2007 the year-on-year change in industrial turnover was 9.4%, i.e. an acceleration of 4.1 percentage points (p.p.). This change was determined by the movements in the same direction in the domestic and external markets. Also in year-on-year terms, wages and hours worked rose by 1.4% and 0.1% respectively, while employment declined by 1.7%.
